Simplifying Change Management with the BEE Methodology©

In my latest book, I focus on a clear vision: delivering tangible results while fostering collaboration and mutual appreciation between project teams and their stakeholders. If you're wondering how to start writing a book or how to write a book for the first time, my journey with "Build, Excite, Equip" might provide some insights. Watch Here

Understanding the Problem

Throughout my career as a business change manager, I've often been brought into projects already facing significant challenges. One common issue is that despite the hard work of project teams, their brilliant tools and systems often go unappreciated or underutilised by the business. This lack of engagement and poor communication leads to frustration and resistance from potential users. Observing this problem from both sides made me ponder: how can we overcome this?

Introducing BEE Methodology

My solution is the BEE Methodology, outlined in my book, "Build, Excite, Equip." This approach breaks down into three straightforward phases:

  1. Build: Organisation, People, Project

  1. Excite: Create, Inform, Market

  1. Equip: Develop, Educate, Invigorate

These phases are designed to simplify change management, enabling project teams to achieve outcomes typically requiring a business change manager. The methodology bridges the gap between project and business teams, reducing frustration on both sides and bringing well-deserved recognition to the project teams. If you're researching change management models or looking for a change management model for digital transformation, the BEE Methodology is tailored for these purposes.

Bridging the Gap

My ultimate goal is to provide a toolkit for project teams, department heads, or anyone aspiring to take on a transformational role. The BEE Methodology is versatile and applicable to projects of any size and nature, including digital transformations, new IT systems, company restructures, or process changes.

Developed by change managers for project managers, BEE empowers those already skilled in technical products and processes to master complex transitions and the intricate 'people aspects' of business.
